As we mentioned in the previous visit, at the time of Noah, the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence.  But because Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, God told him to make himself a wooden ark.  Noah was given specific directions for this.   God was going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens.  But God told Noah to enter the ark along with his family.   Noah was also told to bring two of every kind of animal, and food for the animals and for themselves.  Noah believed God and did everything just as God commanded him.  Noah was a preacher of righteousness to all the people, but nobody would believe except his family.
Once Noah and his family and the animals were safely in the ark, God closed the door.  Then the flooding began.  For forty days the flood kept coming on the earth and as the waters increased they lifted the ark high above the earth.    Every living creature upon the earth died and only Noah was saved, and those with him in the ark (his family and the animals).
It took about a year for the whole earth to flood, to recede, and to dry out enough for Noah and his family to be able to come out of the ark.  Noah built an altar on the dry land and offered a sacrifice to God.  God was pleased with the sacrifice and made a covenant that never again would He curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood.  This covenant was that never again will all life on earth be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the whole earth.  God sealed this promise with the rainbow.
By faith, Noah believed God and God’s promise to send a Savior to all people. 

كما ذكرنا في الزيارة ال سابقة ،  انه  في وقت نوح ، كانت الارض  مليئة بالعنف  وال فساد في  منظور  الله. ولكن نوح كان رجلا  بار ٍ ا ً  ،  غير ملام أمام الله  من كل بشر ذلك الوقت.   الله  قال لنوح  أن يجعل لنفسه  فلك  خشبي (سفينة مصنو عة من الخشب) .  و أعطي  نوح توجيهات محددة لهذا الغرض. كان الل ه ينوي  أن ي جلب مياه الفيضانات على الأرض لتدمير حياة  كل مخلوق  تحت السماء. ولكن الله قال  ل نوح  أن ي دخل السفينة مع عائلته. وق ال  الله أيضا  ل نوح  أن ي جلب  اثنين(ذكر وأنثى)  من كل نوع من الحيوانات ، وغذاء للحيوانات ولأنفسهم.  آمن  نوح  ب الله و فعل كل شيء تماما كما أمره الله. وكان نوح  ي عظ  جميع الناس  لبر  الله  ، ولكن  لم يؤمن ب كلامه  أح د  باستثناء عائلته.
وبمجرد أن نوح وعائلته  والحيوانات دخلو ا  بسلام في  السفينة  ، أغلق الله الباب. ثم بدأت الفيضانات  لمدة أربعين يوما  وتكاثرت  ا لمياه  ف زادت  من  رفع  السفينة  عالي ا  فوق الأرض. قتل كل كائن حي على الأرض، وأنقذ نوح والذين معه في الفلك (عائلته والحيوانات).
واستغرق  الفيضان  نحو عام  كامل  لطو فان  كل الأرض، وتنحسر ، وتجف بما فيه الكفاية لنوح وعائلته ل ي كون وا قادر ين  على الخروج من ال فلك .  ثم  بنى نوح مذبحا على الأرض الجافة ، وقدم ذبيحة لله. كان الله راضيا عن ال ذبيحة  و قطع  عهد ا  انه  لن يلعن الأرض  مرة أخرى  بسبب الا نسان ,  ب الرغم من  ان  كل مي و ل قلب  الانسان  ه ي شر يرة  من ذ  الطفولة. كان هذا العهد  ان  الحياة على الأرض  لاتضمحل  عن طريق مياه فيضان  أبدا مرة أخرى   ؛ وسوف لا يكون هناك طوفان لتدمير الأرض كلها.  وختم  الله وعد ه هذا  ب قوس قزح.

  بالإيمان ،  آمن نوح بالله  ووعد الله ب ارسال  " مخ لَ ص "  لكل البشر .
